PRESCHOOL
Preschool classes are offered for ages 2 to 5. Children do not have to be
potty trained. We have sessions Tuesday & Thursday and Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Classes run from 9:00 – 11:30 A.M. with the option of including
lunch.
DAYCARE
We are open from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Lunches and snacks are provided. Children in this program are in the preschool classes from 9:00
– 11:30 A.M. Enrichment activities are planned for the afternoon.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE
We offer care before and after school for kindergarten and
elementary school children to age 12. The public school buses from Main Elementary, Valley Elementary
and St. Lukes will pick-up and drop off the children at Evergreen. You must fill out a “Request for transportation to daycare”
form at the school in order to arrange this. We plan special activities geared to make an interesting
afternoon for the older child. We plan one extra-special activity or field trip monthly. Care is available for the entire day when public school is
closed.
KINDERGARTEN
At Evergreen Children’s Center you will find an alternative to
public school kindergarten for your child. The small class size allows for a more varied curriculum that can
be found in a public school environment. It also permits more individual attention and closer
communication between parents and teacher.
SUMMER PROGRAMS
We have fun things planned for all ages. School
age children go swimming every week, visit exciting places, go hiking in
the woods, learn new songs, do creative arts and crafts and have camping
and overnight experiences.
Even though our preschool age children do not go on field trips during the
summer, they are not left out of the fun. They enjoy water play,
stories, games and cooking activities. They have special fun days
that include things like; Dinosaur Day, A Teddy Bear Tea Party, and
Beach Party Fun.
