FUND-RAISER: We will be having our twenty-first Annual Flower Sale this spring. We use funds from this event to donate items to the Church, which will be of benefit to the children at Evergreen. In the past years we have raised funds to purchase air conditioners, put in the walkway to the playground, make bathroom improvements, and add new carpeting and window coverings, as well as build the picnic shelter on the playground. We have also made major improvements to the fence and the surface areas under the climbers on the playground. Last year's profit paid for the majority of the new security entrance system. This year we hope to purchase new hand dryers for the bathrooms, if the church is able to update the electric. The hand dryers we are looking at are new technology by the Dyson company. Their hand dryers not only sanitize but use 90% less energy than other dryers. Other advantages to this improvement would be more cleanliness of the bathrooms and much less paper used. With this project, we hope that Evergreen can go evergreener!

Knollwoods has been kind enough to cooperate with us on this project again this year and will be our plant supplier. Remember we now have gift cards for those of who might want to pick out their own plants or wait till the selection at Knollwoods includes more warm weather plants. These gift cards do not have an expiration date, so you could use them for gifts or the holidays as well. I would like to give a special thanks to all parents who are willing to participate in this project. It will involve you in the following ways:

I TAKE ORDERS. Click here for an order forms so that parents can order for themselves and also take orders from family, friends, and co-workers. We will have extra forms available for anyone who needs them.

II TALLY ORDERS. When you collect all your order forms, please total them on one order form sheet. Turn in your order by Friday, April 18th. You can keep the individual order forms, so that when the orders come in, you can distribute the right flowers to the right people.

III COLLECT MONEY/DISTRIBUTE FLOWERS. The flowers will be delivered and we will have your order put together and ready for pick-up here on May 1-2. You will need to turn in payment for your orders when you pick them up. Please write checks to: Beavercreek Church of the Brethren. Then distribute the orders to the right people.
